Hotel Breakfast timings are between 9:00AM-9:30AM - You need to check with the hotel for specific timings for the duration of your stay as they are variable depending upon the guests requirements.

Saturdays and Sundays usually 8:30-10:00AM, and if we're quiet on the Sunday, as long as you have settled up you can keep your keys all day, ask us.

As stated we can vary breakfast timings if notified in advance.

2010 Dinner Menu for the Romantic Candlelit Dinner

(During quieter times, otherwise check our bar meals, or summer and Illuminations for takeaways and desserts only)

We also have Kepak's famous 6oz Flame Cooked Burger.  This is available in the bar at anytime we're around for just £5.95.  It is served in a bun with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise and accompanied with home made chips and battered onion rings.

All of our food is freshly prepared, using Traditional Local Farm Meats (Nigel's sausages) etc.  We endeavour to source all of our food from only the finest local suppliers who share our passion for quality.

Appetisers

 

Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice. 

 

Homemade soup of the day.

 

Melon.  Slices of melon served with a slice of ham and raspberry coulis.

 

Bacon and Port Liver Pate.  With a hint of fresh apple, mushroom and port served with side salad, toast and drizzled with raspberry coulis.

 

Indian Pappadums.  Served with a herb and mint yoghurt, lime pickle and mango chutney.

 

 

Breaded Garlic Mushrooms.  Served with either blue cheese dressing or mayonnaise.

 

 

Deep Fried Battered Onion Rings.  Served on a bed of lettuce with a tangy BBQ dip.

 

 

 

Main Courses

 

Tender chunks of roast beef.  Cooked in a rich gravy and served on a bed of mashed potato and mushy peas.

 

 

Steak and Ale Pie.  Served with homemade chips, onion rings and garden peas.

 

 

Beef Lasagne.  Served with side salad and homemade chips.

 

Juicy Gammon Steak.  From the local butcher, served with grilled tomato, mushrooms, onion rings, garden peas and homemade chips.  Topped with a fried egg.

 

 

Trio of Cumbrian Sausages.  Served on a bed of mustard and black pepper mash served with a rich red wine gravy.

 

 

Chicken Tikka Masala.  Served with seasoned Basmati rice and naan bread.

 

Chicken Jalfrezi.  (Slightly hotter) served with seasoned Basmati rice and naan bread.

 

Chicken Korma.  (Slightly milder with coconut) served with seasoned Basmati rice and naan bread.

 

 

Fish and Chips.  Battered cod and homemade chips, served with wedge of lemon and mushy peas.
